I may be returning this printer. Out of the box it did not feed from the multipurpose tray. They bottom paper tray is pretty flimsy while sliding it in and out. The setup does not setup the fax, you must do it from the printer (I couldn't find a way to do it from the software). The printer screen and buttons seem poor for this level of printer. I called Samsung to get help with the MP tray, and their phone service was poor. Transferring me around, then after multiple call drops I got to the right place...it seems this is considered a business product, so the consumer side can't help you. I finally got a service call scheduled, and the guy didn't show or call. a week later I called back (now I have a ticket number, which made it better to talk to them), and got the guy to schedule again. Again he cancelled (at least this time he called). Tomorrow he is supposed to come out.
The print quality is excellent. It constantly goes into "calculating image density". Today, after about 50-60 prints, the printer failed and says all 4 toners are bad/empty. There is toner sprayed all inside the printer. Hopefully the guy will come in and we can see if I keep it. Right now I think I should have gone with HP 475 or the Brother 9970. Tried to save some money, but looks like I'll be spending the $200+ more for the better printer.
UPDATE:
The technician showed up, and unfortunately he couldn't fix it. He said it would have to be exchanged. They exchange with a refurbished unit which is unacceptable to me. I am returning it. I did call Samsung executive support and they weren't able to do any more for me to keep me as a customer. Glad I bought through Amazon so I can return it without hassle (not through other vendors on Amazon).
