I bought this 2TB external hard drive about 18 months ago. It is sturdy, relatively quiet, and was easy to install right out of the box. It is easy to use and data transfer is fast. The most important point I want to make in this review is my experience over 18 months of use:
Testing the drive by daily backing up about 700 MByte of data over a period of 18 months resulted in no failure. The drives seem to still work just fine. None of the two mirrored drives has failed in any way. I am very satisfied with this purchase. Two caveats: (1) Past performance is no guarantee of future performance and the device could fail at any time, and (2) the fact that one customer had a good experience does not mean that the product is really good.
If the device will fail anytime in the future, I will try to update this review.
