The RAVEN RV02 - E is an evolution of the original RV02 case that aims to provide even more accessible performance and utility. Making a debut for the first time in a tower chassis, SilverStone � s own � �Air Penetrator-Inch 180mm fans are included in the RV02 - E for improved air intake efficiency and flexibility. The fan frame of the Air Penetrator fans provide enough fan blade protection and increased air focusing ability that they no longer require installation of fan grille. Hot - swappable hard drive cage was also implemented to facilitate installation at the expense of losing the 8th expansion slot. However, all other features are intact such as fully filtered intake system, 90 degree motherboard mounting, all black interior, liquid cooling support, and fan speed switches. I love this case. I've gone through a few cases (Rosewill TU-155, Sunbeam Transformer, NZXT Phantom, this). I definitely have to say this is the best case I've ever owned. The design is superb and works pretty well, although another exhaust fan wouldn't hurt. It's flipped so your motherboard panels are on the top instead of the back. This is extremely effective since cold air sinks, and heat rises. Basically, the 3 180MM fans at the bottom pull in fresh cold air for your components, and pushes it right out at the top. This also creates positive airflow pressure (more air coming in, than going out), which means less dust.

The metal is pretty thick, it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. It's well painted, scratch resistant The plastic used is decent quality. It kind of is a dust magnet/fingerprint magnet. But not as much as the Phantom's glossy plastic finish. The frosted piece of acrylic where the blue LED's are housed diffuse the light so it's not annoyingly bright.

The only thing I like better about the Phantom is the cable management. While this case isn't bad with it, it could be better. I wish there was more room on the back side where you hide all your cables. Mine kind of bulges from all the cables, but I'm sure if I went back and made it neater it would be okay.

The case is a bit wide, I had some trouble getting some of my cables to reach without being stretched to the max with my Corsair HX1000W PSU.

Over time I've realized how convenient the top access is (although it's kind of annoying taking off the top cover, putting it back on, etc, but you can just leave it off) compared to a traditional layout where everything is in the back.

I had to go through an RMA with Silverstone's customer service since one of my 180MM fans died shortly after I got this case. They handled it very quickly, had a new fan within 3 days. This was my first product from them, and that was a great first impression, both for this case and their service.

I would definitely recommend this case to another enthusiast. It's a great case, sleek, but not overly flashy like the Phantom. This was perfect for me. Although, anyone wanting to do a water-cooling setup -might- want to consider a roomier case. Not saying this case can't do it (it has designs for it), but it will be tight.

I am extreamly please with my Galaxy Tab. It is very thin and light weight. The picture quality is quite nice as well. The battery seems to have plenty of life in WiFi mode. I don't know how well it lasts running it in 4GL mode since I rarely if ever use the 4GL functionality. That leads to my one serious issue with this tablet.

Not only will the tablet will not boot up without a sim card it won't boot up without an activated sim card. So if at some point I get tired of paying Verizon for the cell service on the tablet I won't be able to use my tablet. I have a real problem with not being able to bypass the Celular fucntionality.

It works well enough, but the feature set is a bit low for the price if you ask me. POE is nice, and it can do VLANS and has various other security settings that some of the end user marketed APs don't. However, and this is a big however that wasn't clearly displayed in the information here, is that it can only do 5Ghz OR 2.4, not both at the same time. I'd suggest just getting a decent Asus or Netgear router and just using DD-WRT to get your advanced security features. The wireless signal from those are just as good, and you'll get a much bigger feature set.

Philips Brilliance 272P4QPJKEB 27-Inch Screen LCD Monitor Review

Pros:

- 2560x1440 resolution is a Godsend. Just utterly spectacular definition/detail, and is a feast for the eyes.

- The monitor arrived without a single dead or hot pixel. I was quite impressed.

- Love the swivel mount, and I use the monitor sideways when doing documents sometimes.

- Three USB 3.0 ports is such a nice option!

- Speakers? I guess some care about this. I think speakers on a monitor is a complete waste of materials, and they will never sound better than even cheap desktop speakers. But I digress...

- Reviews put this monitor's color reproduction as "slightly above average", but this PLS panel is eons above my BenQ TN gaming monitor when it comes to color clarity. It was a little hot in the reds when I first got it, but it's easy to cut down the red temp.

- Good menu options. PiP is also a great option!

- Decent backlight control (see CONS for a way to fix this issue).

CONS:

- The LED backlight doesn't handle high contrasting light/dark at once. When looking at a very white background on a webpage, my rotating pictures for the desktop background causes the monitor to over/under compensate every once in a while to adjust brightness.
However, you CAN fix this! Using the SmartControl Premium software included with the monitor, head straight to "Eco Power" and for the option "Bright Room" and "Dim Room", set both to 100%. This will turn off the annoying backlight issue. Also, you can adjust backlight brightness. I have mine set at 60%.

- The menu buttons aren't illuminated. I HATE trying to press the buttons and navigate in the dark. I have to use a flashlight to see what I'm pressing. FAIL.

- Response time is not "bad", but I can tell a difference between this and my BenQ TN display. Then again, apples-to-oranges comparison. Not fair to put an PLS against a TN panel's response times.
Playing games, it still looks alright.

CONCLUSION:
I quite like this monitor. More than I'm willing to admit, actually. Apparently you can get something better in this price range if you're willing to sacrifice options (especially USB 3.0 ports). Then again, in the "real world" - and after adjusting hotter colors - this display is gorgeous. Perhaps super finicky users who need extremely accurate colors might want to go somewhere else. Those people would likely look into the "higher end" models, I would think.

If you want super-duper quick refresh rates, then go for a gaming monitor. If you play games and are willing to sacrifice slow response time for better color and AMAZING resolution detail, then I recommend this monitor.

Also, go to the menu options as select "Faster" refresh rate settings. That will help.
I would wager most people won't really notice a difference either way.

I do recommend this monitor!

SmartControl software note: If you are using dual displays and SLI, make sure the Philips is plugged into the first video card. Otherwise, SmartControl will recognize your second monitor as the "main", and it will block off adjustment options - even if you have the Philips selected in the top menu.
