I switched from 2011 platform to 1150. There are multiple reasons but there are 2 the most important ones.

- There is no benefit using 2011 over cheaper 1150 for my purposes. I can do as much and as fast using the motherboard with 1240v3.

- But what it is the most important, the motherboard supports ATA password. I can now use self-enrypting SSDs in full extend. You do need TPM module (sold separately).
