SenseVision DisplayPort to 3xDisplayPort Review

I ordered this product to correct the screen tearing issues caused by mixing connection types on my Radeon HD 7970 eyefinity gaming setup (2x displayport and 1x HDMI). It cleared up this issue as the drivers are capable of syncing the frames now.

This device will also enable you to run your multiple monitors with a graphics card that doesn't normally support capability as Windows recognizes my 3 monitors as one 5760 x 1080 display. With AMD graphics there is the ability to break them apart into 3 monitors again for all the normal eyefinity options in the drivers.

There are some things I didn't like about this device.
It came with a European style power cord for the power adapter, so I had to order a new one to use it in North America. Since the power adapter is rated for inputs of 100-200 volts there was no issue with just purchasing the power cord itself and using the same adapter. The cord can be found for cheap or you may have one laying around from an old laptop charger.

There is text on the packaging stating "Best with AMD Radeon Graphics". May not work with Nvidia graphics or others since there's no mention of them what so ever on the packaging. Be sure to do some research before purchasing this if you'r using something else.

If I restart my PC from within Windows 7 operating system, one of my screens will fail to work properly once Windows loads up again. A window pops up saying there was a display cable failure. Once I completely turn off the computer and start it again, there's no issues and everything is fine. I'm not sure if this is a design flaw with the product in general, or an issue with mine. For this reason I rate this product a 4/5.

A major issue with this product is it's availability in the Americas. I'm one of the very few people in North America with one of these devices at the time of writing this. There are no retailers of Club3D products in North or South America so I had to have it imported from Germany. Amazon estimated delivery times that were two to three months away from the time I placed my order, so I was pleasantly surprised I received it in 3 weeks.
