If money is no object, then for sure a Marshall Monitoring system with all its bells and whistles or some other Pro Monitoring solution will be the way to go. But for people on a budget in the amateur/semi pro arena, this is a great monitoring solution. It is not full HD, but does an excellent job of down converting, resulting in a nice crisp picture. It takes readily available generic battery packs made for common camcorders (check from the list of battery types it takes in the user manual)which conveniently clips onto it's back side eliminating the hassle of cable management which can be a nightmare on a run-and-gun shoot. While I would not rely on it for correct exposure, it is a great solution as an aid for manual focus.
