What can i say, it is a battery backup unit. This would be our 4th of this same type.

The only issue we ran into was with old firmware on the raid card. If it is too old, it will not see the bbu and you cannot enable some of the advanced caching functions.

The raid card's bbu re-learn feature cannot be scheduled, so you have to deal with a slow raid array at random times.

Otherwise, it does it's job well.
