I purchased these to upgrade our late 2011 15" Macbook Pro from 4 GB to 8GB, and they are a perfect match. Installation took about 5 minutes and the Macbook recognized the increased memory instantly. Kingston is a reliable DIMM manufacturer and offers a much more cost effective upgrade option than buying direct from Apple. We're running Snow Leopard, so there isn't a huge difference in performance, but I imagine it will make a big difference when we migrate to Lion.
