LG Electronics PA70G Micro-Portable LED Projector Review

Let me start like this.
I own Vivitek H1080FD 1080p and burned around 600 hours(i use it carefully) however always worried about its lamp life and also sometimes bulbs go down after their 3 months or 500 hours warranty, too sad.. always demanded blu-ray to play on it. But not always possible to get one.

I was waiting for LED technology with at least 720p resolution and better lumens, had ordered Optoma ML500, but it did not satisfy my appetite. almost a year latter this BABY popped in the market and i picked it :D.
I am projecting it for my kid on a white wall close to 80" screen mostly during day time and this little one does fantastic job when i cover window with blackout corten. Well i can feel the difference between 1080p and 720p. However i do not need to worry about lamplife, in last 4 weeks i put on 160+ hours comprised of SD TV signals, YouTube vdo songs, WD HDTV Live some time laptop. All the time it has done great job.

3D: Got 2 pairs of 3D Corp glasses and tried as per instructions in the manual, but no success :(. Please help someone.

for its price and quality of build and projection two thumbs up :) Very good inbuilt audio. This baby looks so cute.

Recommended for daily casual fun.

I'm projecting now on Da-Lite Screen 70INX70INDa-Lite Screen 70INX70IN Model B Manual Screen Wall/ceiling -Matte White images/movies looks awesome than projecting on wall. A lot difference this screen made, reduced size to 80" diag, but smooth and vibrant images.

Updates: I'm Able watch 3D videos on 100" screen :D

Please follow bellow steps:
It was cumbersome task initially when i tried to experiment 3D with LG PA70G. Later I got it. Please find bellow steps and equipments/software used. Let me know if yo are successful.

1. Projector: LG PA70G
2. Glasses: 3DTV Corp DLP-LINK 3D Glasses 2 Pairs for ALL 3D Ready DLP Projectors and ALL Samsung and Mitsubishi DLP TV's
3. Software: Stereoscopic player at < 3 d t v . a t >
4. PC Setting: 1024X768 at 120 Hz
5. Videos: Downloded from < 3 d t v . a t > go to movie download tab
Connect the Projector to PC. Set pc resolution as per step 4.
Launch Stereoscopic Player, browse for downloaded 3d Videos.

That's it!!! You are already to watch 3D on 100" screen.

But last but imp stereoscopic player setting,
goto
Menu>>View>>Viewing Method>>Software Pagefliping

If you do not select this, you will not able to see 3D effect.
