Purchased this projector with the intent of movie nights in our apartment. Wanted good value and long life.

Pros - great size, easy to operate. putting out an image approx 64" by 120" in our apartment. Colours are great no issues with sharpness.

Cons - The above can only be done in darkness. At the recommended sizes (from manufacturer) the image is still visible in lighted condition but at this size the colours get washed out when other light sources applied. We use our plasma tv for daytime viewing.

I bought this with the only expectation of playing movies/games in the dark. Does a great job.

Love the fact that its expected life is 30,000 hours (vs 4000 or 5000).

Had previous experience with traditional projectors, and am happy with this led projector.

Will update review once I have tried the 3d aspect. So far I've played videos with 3d content, but lack the dlp glasses...
