Samsung CLP-K660B Black Toner with 5,000 Page Yield Review

Given that this toner cartridge is the Samsung branded cartridge for a Samsung printer, it worked just as expected. I installed it and it worked. Period. Interestingly, it was delivered MUCH faster than I expected. I had ordered it late on a Thursday night. The receipt said that it would ship on Monday with delivery later in the week. However, I received it on Saturday, less than 48 hours after I had ordered it ... and this was with the "normal" delivery option.

D-Link DWL-6600AP IEEE 802.11n 300 Mbps Wireless Access Point Review

I'm using two of the 6600AP access points, along with a D-Link DWC-1000 wireless controller, in my 4-story townhouse.

They work very well, routinely giving me speeds well in excess of 30 Mbs. They look cool (like smoke detectors), and the status lights aren't too bright as to be annoying, but they are visible enough to see that it's doing something.

They configuration for the AP is fairly straightforward with a nice GUI (the interface on the DWC-1000 is a little less intuitive).

My only gripe is that the supplied round mounting bracket has to be mounted at an odd angle in order for the lights and writing on the access point to be horizontal. That keeps it from easily mounting in the screw hole of a box that would likely house the ethernet jack. However, I was able to simply put a pencil mark on the location of the mount that corresponded to the top of the access point when twisted it, and use that as a guide when mounting the bracket.

Travelpro Luggage WalkAbout LITE 4 Rolling Computer Tote, Black, One Size Review

A good solution for the regular traveler, this provides a good strong handle and a roomy large pocket (I travel with 2 laptops and an iPad), but the outer pocket has no way to organize any of the things I need to bring with me. Not even so much as a place to put pens; I will be looking for some other way to do that with a separate purchase.

Overall, pretty solid. Compared to my other rolling briefcases, a good buy.

Acer Aspire 7551-7422 17.3" Quad Core 2.2GHz 4GB 500GB Review

This laptop is absolutely amazing! I've actually come to love Acer laptops because they are reliable and affordable. I purchased this Acer Aspire 7551-7422 to upgrade from my Acer Aspire AS7736Z-4088. I also wrote a review on that one as well. This particular model is slightly different but similar in specs to the Acer AS7741G-6426 that has the 2.66 GHz Intel Core i5-480M dual-core processor which makes it more expensive. It also has a 640 GB SATA hard drive (5400 RPM)and this Acer model has 500 GB SATA hard drive with a 2.2GHz Quad Core processor (AMD Phenom II X4 N970).

I purchased this particular model at Walmart for $478.00 which I thought was a great deal. I have this exact model. It's black with a mesh like top so you don't have to worry about all those nasty little finger prints! This computer is blazing fast. It even takes less than 30 seconds to boot up. My previous Acer laptop made a little bit more noise compared to this model. This particular model is fairly quiet. You can barely hear it running. I especially love the bright 17.3 screen. It's absolutely beautiful! There is also a full numeric keypad and the keyboard has plenty of space. The keys are a nice size and have a spring like feel to them when pressed. The touchpad also has the multi-gesture feature where you can pinch and zoom ect. I don't particular like this feature. I bought a new wireless mouse to use with the laptop. I have never really liked the touchpad on a laptop. I prefer to use multi-gestures on my iPad. I also wanted to say that I was a bit surprised by how light the laptop is. I expected it to be much heavier. Acer did a really nice job with the build. It's a beautiful laptop at an affordable price. You are getting a lot for the price. If you are on a budget and don't want to spend the extra $100-$200 on Intel processor, I would definitely go with this option.

The only cons that I've noticed so far was that I only got just over 3 hours in battery life. There is also no Bluetooth which is a little disappointing. I got over it fairly quickly though. I don't use Bluetooth that often on my laptop. I also felt that the speakers were a little weak. If sound quality is very important to you then I would invest in some good quality speakers if you're going to go with this laptop. The sound quality isn't terrible but it could definitely be a lot better. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and feel like I got a lot of bang for my buck! I have included the technical specifications below in order to present them to you a little better.

HP 6510b Laptop, Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 2.0Ghz, Fingerprint Reader, Anti-Glare Screen, 120 GB Hard Drive, Microsoft Vista Basic Review

I bought this computer almost a year ago and I did not have one problem with it (except its slow because of my weak internet). There are also some awesome features like the biometric finger scanner which is really easy to setup if you are computer inclined, if not than you can find a tutorial on the web somewhere but it does require that you download a program which I have tested and it is safe and works really good. The touch screen volume control gets laggy sometimes. Another thing that is good about this computer is that it is INDESTRUCTIBLE. I have dropped it, thrown it on my bed every night and spilled drinks on it multiple times. My online chief complaint is that I have an issue with charging it, the charger is kind of funky and you have to either hold it or not move the computer itself. It also doesn't hold a charge TOO well but if you are just using it for home than keep the charger near. And a little minor thing is that it doesn't come with a lot of stock programs like solitaire, etc. Which means there is no security system so you can either buy norton or avg or just use the trials which is what I do. Bottom line is that this computer is GREAT. The charger came brand new and the computer said that there was a few minor cosmetic damages but there is nothing bad that I have seen.
