Ubiquiti Networks SR71-USB WLAN USB 802.11a/b/g/n MIMO

Ubiquiti Networks SR71-USB WLAN USB 802.11a/b/g/n MIMO Review

Works out of the box with BackTrack. Goes into monitor mode and injects perfectly. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a good setup for wiresless security gigs.

The reason for the 4-star rating is the antenna connectors, I personally am not a fan of these and I don't see them lasting a long time due to their design and small/tight nature.

Fintie Foilo Case Cover for iPad 4th Generation With Retina Display, the new iPad 3 & iPad 2 (Automatic Wake/Sleep) - Newspaper Review

This little case will fit your iPad 4 perfectly. I was a little concerned after reading one review, which said it was slightly off. Well, I can't imagine but that the reviewer was not talking about a 4. I'm not at all familiar with Apple products, just this particular iPad. This case is soft leather, it closes like a book, and when shut, sends the device into standby mode. Using this cover extends the time of my battery charge. I consider this cover to be absolutely essential, and, given its very low price, it should be wrapped around every iPad 4.

This thing uses a fastboot method that works very well. Once you get everything patched up, add Stardock's Start8 ($10) to compensate for Windows 8 issues, and replace the crappy wifi adapter with something like the Intel Centrino 6235 (available on Amazon for $22), you've gone from a nice laptop to a great laptop. I also added 4 Gb of RAM to mine but it really won't be necessary for a lot of people.

This laptop boots very quickly. The screen is very clear. The I5 processor should be plenty for almost anyone. If this has a weak spot, it's the Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics. There is an AMD A10 version of this laptop that would be better for gaming. While the I5 is a better processor, the A10 has better graphics.

Back to the wifi adapter - I couldn't get any better than 72 mbps with the stock wifi adapter. So, for $22 I ordered the Intel 6235 wifi adapter. This upped my connections to 300 mbps and added Bluetooth 4.0 as well. To replace the adapter took about 5 minutes. Asus has made it very simple to access the hard drive, memory, and the wifi adapter - two screws and a slight pull forward is all it takes. Everything is accessible by removing the one panel. One last tip - if you do this, download the drivers from Intel before you swap out the adapters.

Overall, I'm very pleased with my Asus K55A laptop.

Lexmark OfficeEdge Pro5500 Wireless Color Photo Printer with Copier and Fax Review

After reading many recent reviews, all which agreed this was an outstanding printer I decided to try this printer. Some reviewers did not all give this an overall high rating, mainly because at the time of the reviews it was priced at 40% above the HP and Canon similar inkjet options at 400 dollars plus. However, in side by side comparisons this printer was generally rated better for most features, it was just thought by the reviewers to be too expensive. However, at it's current price which has dramatically dropped, possibly as a result of reviewers who did not rank this printer well due to its price, it is a great value. It has a low print cost, excellent copy and scan functions and a great fax. photo copies look great and the text quality is very sharp and clear. Text while very good isn't as deep black as I would like, but it is good and near laser quality. If you just need black and white text, I would however suggest looking at a laser or hp or cannon, as the blackness of their ink/text is a bit more appealing to my eye. This machine is extremely fast, and not too loud. The quality of the fax, scanner and sheet feeder is probably better than the competition at this price point and the software seems to be solid so far, unlike some of the competition. At the time of this review this a great value. It can be found at walmart cheaper with free delivery at the time of this review.
