HP ENVY 23-d260qd TouchSmart All-in-One Desktop PC

HP ENVY 23-d160qd TouchSmart All-in-One Desktop PC Review

Found it on the HP website for $1149.99. Base configuration as here: i7 3.1 processor, 2TB hard drive, 8GB RAM, Blu-ray player, no graphics card (extra cost option), wireless keyboard and mouse. Lots of customization available. I do a good deal of word processing and photo editing and watch an occasional disk or Netflix stream. I was astounded at the quality of image and sound on this set. The heart of my home theater is a Pioneer Kuro t.v., so I have a good standard of comparison. The movies play perfectly--no hesitation of artifacts. My photos look so much better than they did on my last monitor--a 24" Dell. The touchscreen works perfectly. I have learned that a combination of mouse and touchscreen gives best results. I load and edit large RAW image files in Adobe Photoshop Elements speedily with no hangups or slowdowns. Cons: As with almost all new computers, lots of bloatware to get rid of. Windows 8 takes some getting used to. Skimpy documentation. Pros: It is fast, versatile, economical, easy to set up and use. I am not a gamer, so I do not know how appropriate it is for this use, but for a user with moderate demands I can't think of a better computer than this. Highly recommended.

Toshiba Satellite L955D-S5140NR Windows 8 6GB DDR3 640GB HDD Review

I like the computer, good price for options such as a decent video card, but I hate the new operating system. Would prefer XP or 7 over 8.

Fuser Assembly 110V Review

My Xerox 6180 started throwing fuser errors, and requesting that I restart the printer. Restarting the printer repeatedly, never worked, of course, so I ended up ordering this part. Installation is easy, and the errors went away. The printer prints again.

Yamaha MG32/14FX 14 Bus Audio Mixer Review

This mixer is everything that it says it is. I bought mine about 3 weeks ago, and it works great, it's already done a few gigs, 2 large events, and a rehearsal.

The knobs feel great, very professional.

The board is pretty weighty, can be carried by one person although its recommended to have two persons transport it. It runs cool and has alot of headroom. I used it alongside the MG166CX, and with a QSC Power Amp.
With the MG166CX, the amp was at about 26, with the MG32, had to tone it down to 14, as low as 12 in some instances through the same speaker setup (6 speakers, 2 bass and 4 loudspeakers) and it handled very well.

When time has past, I will hopefully give a more detailed and structured review, but for now, great product. The box it ships with is pretty big, so you may wanna hurry up and get the case for it.
